Optical fiber terminal box prepares for the development of intelligent modernization

The optical fiber terminal box is the terminal joint of an optical cable. One end of it is an optical cable and the other end is a pigtail. It is equivalent to a device that splits an optical cable into a single optical fiber. Fiber-to-fiber fusion, fiber-to-pigtail fusion, and optical connector handover. It also provides mechanical and environmental protection for the optical fiber and its components and allows for proper inspection to maintain the highest standards of fiber management.
As the terminal equipment of the optical cable line, the optical fiber terminal box has four basic functions:
1. After the fixed-function optical fiber cable enters the rack, its outer sheath and strengthening core should be mechanically fixed, ground wire protection components should be added, the end protection treatment should be carried out, and the optical fibers should be grouped and protected.
2. Fusion function After the optical fiber drawn from the optical cable is fused with the tail cable, the excess optical fiber is coiled and stored, and the fusion joint is protected.
3. The deployment function inserts the connector on the tail cable into the adapter, and realizes the optical connection with the optical connector on the other side of the adapter. Adapters and connectors should be able to be plugged and pulled flexibly; the optical path can be freely deployed and tested.
4. The storage function provides storage for various cross-connected optical cables between the racks, so that they can be placed neatly and orderly. There should be an appropriate space and method in the optical fiber terminal box, so that the routing of this part of the optical connection line is clear, easy to adjust, and can meet the requirements of the minimum bending radius.
With the development of optical fiber network, the existing functions of optical fiber terminal box can no longer meet many new requirements. Therefore, Zhuoguan is developing new products to prepare for the great development of intelligent modernization.
