The material performance of the terminal box determines its use effect

The terminal box series products are auxiliary equipment for terminal wiring in the optical fiber transmission communication network. The terminal box is mainly used for fixing the optical cable terminal, welding the optical cable and the pigtail, and storing and protecting the remaining fiber.
The material performance of the terminal box, the material used for the part where the terminal box is located should have anti-corrosion properties, and if there is no anti-corrosion property, it should be treated with anti-corrosion. Its physical and chemical properties must be stable. The various materials must be compatible with each other and with the cable jacket and distribution pigtail jacket. To prevent corrosion and other electrical damage, these materials must also be compatible with materials commonly used in other equipment.
If the terminal box is made of engineering plastics, its combustion performance should meet the standard requirements. The thermal melting temperature of the materials and fillers used in the fiber optic connector reinforcement protection should not be less than 120°C, the heat softening temperature should not be less than 90°C, and it should be able to be used at a temperature of -25°C~+40°C. All materials should be non-toxic, non-corrosive, and have no side effects on human health and other equipment.
The appearance of the terminal box should be complete in shape, free from burrs, bubbles, cracks and voids, warping, impurities and other defects. The overall base color should be uniform and continuous. The construction is convenient, the additional attenuation is small, and the structure is reasonable. The fiber optic cable reinforcement core can be fixed in the terminal box. It has the function of leading out the ground wire connected to the metal outer sheath of the fiber optic cable. It is also suitable for ribbon fiber optic cables and ordinary fiber optic cables.
