LPSC-148 is designed as a multi-functional equipment for optical cable splice which can be connected and branched out. It has 4 cable entries and 16 drop cable ports and is suitable for wall-mounting and pole-mounting. This product has wide adaptability, good sealing performance and easy to be installed. Four avaliable types for LPSC-148 according to splice capacity and PLC splitter loading:
- LPSC-148A: 144 splices, without adaptors, 1x8,1x16 PLC splitter
- LPSC-148B: 24 splices, 16 SC SX adaptors, 1x8,1x16 PLC splitter
- LPSC-148C: 24 splices, 16 SC SX adaptors, LGX PLC splitter
- LPSC-148D: 96 splices, 16 SC SX adaptors, 1x8,1x16 PLC splitter

Installation Process

Use the key to open the special lock of the closure. Open the clamps of product, and unscrew the screw of cable grommet, take out the grommet and disassemble it.

Prepare an uncut cable, stripping optical cable jacket and put on the grommet and then put into the closure.

Fasten the cable and CSM fastener, then storage the additional fibers to the storage plate.

Arrange the fibers in the tray, install the splice protective sleeve in the splice holder. Insert the fibers into protective sleeve and wait for the splicing process. Install a splitter at a specific position on the upper tray.

Arrange the input end of the splitter holder in the tray and spliced with the fibers. Install the adaptor in the adaptor holder, and connect the output end with the adaptor.

Use a wrench to unscrew the drop cable grommet and cut the drop cable grommet with a knife. Install the pigtail in the drop cable grommet and insert it into the closure and connected with the adaptor.

Screw tightly the drop cable grommet kits and fix the pigtail with a cable tie. Close the lid of the closure, tighten clamps and the lock to complete the installation.

Sealing of Closure
- The installation of the fiber splice tray should be neat, and the bending radius of the fiber should meet the requirements.
- The internal fasteners should be tightened.
- The amount of sealing tape should be reasonable.
- The sealing fitting should be placed flatly in the corresponding slot of the fiber optic closure.
