The history of optic closure as a device for the construction of optic fiber network is decades since last century and the requirement of the design of optic closure is changed upon the demands of different network structures, main reasons are to save the cost and time of installation and reduce the risk of fiber damage during the service time.
One of the technical achievement of new generation of optic closure is so-called optic terminal closure, which is design-in the waterproof optic adaptor into the standard optic closure and also optic PLC splitter can be installed inside of optic closure, the purpose is to effect the optic closure to separate the installation and maintenance stage, and which improve the performance by quicker the process of maintenance and reduce the risk of fiber damage during the process of maintenance.
The optic closure model LPTC-05 is one of the solutions of optic terminal closure, which has 4 pieces of optic cable ports for optic fiber cable inlet, and equipped with 16 pieces of waterproof SC simplex adaptor for drop cable outlet. Inside of this optic closure is capable for up to 36 pieces of optic fiber splice and support optic PLC splitter installation, the internal structure of this optic closure is well designed for optic fiber management and protection in bending radius.
This closure is made by choosing excellent quality of plastic material and is capable of protection from environmental factors, such as UV resistance, impact and temperature, meanwhile this optic closure is IP 65 rating which is suitable for aboveground and aerial application.

Notice:
The above-mentioned tools and testing instruments should be provided by the operators themselves.
Installation Process
1. Prepare and connect two cut cables. Loose the buckle and open the closure.
2. Install the cable, fix the CSM, and install the cable fastener. Coil the remained fiber on the bottom, put on the protective sleeve and fix with the nylon tie.
Note: If cable diameter smaller than 13mm or 8mm, use sealing tape to enlarge its diameter.
3. Install the second cut cable to the closure, fix the CSM and install the cable fastener. Coil the remained fiber of the second cable on the bottom, put on the protective sleeve and fix with the nylon tie.
4. Coil the remained fiber into the tray in proper order and connect.
5. Install the 1*16 splitter and inlet to the second tray and splice with the fiber. Connect with the connector on the outlet side.
6. Coil the fiber from the outlet side of the splitter on the tray. Put on the buffer tube and connect with the connector.
7. Put on the tray cover and close the closure.
8. Connect the pigtail with the connector.
9. Put on the buckle and tighten the screws to finish the installation.
