The optical terminal closure LPTC-04 is the dome type that supports different methods of optical cable direct joint and branch, including cut and uncut cables. It has 3 inlet ports, including 1 oval port and 2 round ports. It could be used for aerial mounting and underground applications. The selected high strength engineering plastic material to assure superior protection capability from harsh environment such like aging, corrosion, temperature and superior of mechanical strength. This model is excellent in sealing performance, easy for installation, wide applications and is prior choice of fiber connection equipment.
This closure is made by choosing excellent quality of plastic material and is capable of protection from environmental factors, such as UV resistance, impact and temperature, meanwhile this optic closure is IP 68 rating which is suitable for underground and aerial application.

Installation Process
- Cut off the oval and round ports with tool.
- Open the closure and prepare uncut cable.
- Lead uncut cable into the closure, fasten the screws on CSM and coil the remaining cable. Insert the stripped fiber into the buffering tube, loop it on splice tray and fasten with the cable tie for splicing.
- Install the 1*8 PLC splitter on splitter holder, splice the output of PLC splitter with the stripped fiber then coil the remaining fibers.
- Butt up another end of PLC splitter and adapters, roll the remaining fibers.
- Using abrasive paper to polish the surface of the oval ports.
- Wrap up Aluminum paper on the cable, put the heat shrink tube unto the oval and round ports,
- Install the branching clip between the uncut cable and heat shrink tube.
- Use special tool to proceed the heat shrink process for the cable and heat shrink tube, not let the fire close to the bottom of closure and the cable with foil paper.
- Wrench apart the cover of plug for waterproof connector, insert pigtails to finish the connection.
