The optical cable connection box is a device for optical fiber access. It is also called a barrel in the industry because of its shape. It is the place where the end of the optical cable is connected.
The internal structure of the optical cable junction box mainly has the following main bodies:
1. The support frame is the main body of the internal components.
2. The optical cable fixing device is used for fixing the optical cable and the base and fixing the optical cable strengthening element. On the one hand, it is used for the internal fixing of the fiber optic cable strengthening core; on the other hand, it is used for the clamping and fixing of the fiber optic cable and the support frame;
3. The optical fiber placement device can store optical fiber connectors and remaining optical fibers in an orderly manner. The length of the remaining optical fibers should not be less than 1 meter, and the curved diameter of the remaining optical fiber reels should not be less than 35mm. Among them, the storage tray can have up to four layers, and the capacity is large, and the storage tray can be adjusted according to the number of cores connected by the optical cable.
4. For the protection of optical fiber connectors, put the heat-shrinkable protective sleeve on the fiber core fixing clip in the storage tray, and the silica gel fixing method can also be used.
5. The optical cable is sealed with the splice box. Use abrasive cloth to polish the joint between the splice box and the optical cable at the cable entry point of the optical cable and the base. Clean the polished place with a detergent, paste aluminum foil on it, and then put the heat shrinkable tube in the splice box At the entry point of the cable, use a blowtorch to heat slowly in the middle first and then to both ends, so that the entire heat shrinkable tube can be completely shrunk.
