The importance of keeping the optic fiber network working is a serious topic for all telecom operators as the internet connection and service have already become necessary requirements for our daily life.
The risks of optic fiber cable damage are existed, as most of the optic fiber networks are built in outdoor environments where are full of challenges of attack or interfere from mother nature, no matter the optic fiber cable is deployed in underground or above ground, the different factors are impacting the optic fiber network from time to time and need back up plan standby to fix the issue when happens.
This inline optic closure model LPSC-F02 is the solution for such scenario of emergency repairing when optic fiber cable is damaged, this inline optic closure has simple structure and can be used as temporary protection mechanism of splice the damaged optic fiber and recover the function of optic fiber network. This inline optic closure has 1 piece of cable port on each side of closure and support up to 6mm diameter optic fiber cable to be inlet and max 4 cores of splice capacity inside of this device.
Not only for the function as emergency repairing, this compact inline optic closure can be used for FTTx purpose, the design of this optic closure include CSM fastening mechanism and all hardwares are included, and suitable for indoor, wall mount application.
